Welcome To America's Most Beautiful Rodeo Grounds

With hats a flyin’ and bulls a buck’n, the 57th Annual Woodlake Lions Rodeo wrapped up on Sunday May 9 with clear skies and capacity crowds.  Saturday honored our men & women of the military, followed by the traditional rodeo dance. Sunday concluded with a wonderful tribute to Tough Enough to Wear Pink.  A $1,000 check was given to the Sequoia Regional Cancer Center in the fight to help end cancer.

Amidst the beautiful backgrounds of the Sierra Nevada’s, cowboys & cowgirls competed for purse money in 6 rodeo events.  The winners were:

  • Steer Wrestling:  Tie – Stan Branco/Levi Rosser
  • Brahma Bull Riding: Ted Bert
  • Tie Down Roping: Jared Ferguson
  • Bareback Riding: Caleb Bennet
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Chase Bennet
  • Team Roping: Clint White/Jake Twisselman
